Follow the American typing teacher’s tips to hover you hand over the keyboard an lower you fingers onto the home keys. Feel for the little pips on the F and the J key.
Typing Instruction, at the top of the 2Type items, also shows you how to put your fingers on the keys.
Your left index finger should rest on the F key.
Your right index finger should rest on the J key.
Try games in the Home, Top and Bottom Row Keys section first. If you are sharing a laptop, set the game time to no more than one minute and play until the timer stops. Then let your partner play for one minute. Watch your partner and encourage them not to look at the keys as they type.
